After I asked Tiisetso to marry me, I sort the blessing of my parents. it was during the Easter weekend of 2016 when I told my Mother and Father of my intention to marry Tiisetso. Having given me their blessing a letter was written to the Kupa family "Ho kopa Mohope wa Metsi"
It was on the 2 July 2016, When the Kupas opened their door to the Mokoena and a promise was made to join two souls together in blessed matrimony.
My Mother is loving and gentle.
My parents are very supportive and caring - My Dad has always been the disciplinarian, whilst my mother is the diplomat whose equally strict. I am greatful for the lessons they taught me. I am mostly greatful for their strict posture on instilling christian values in the household.
Our story began in January 2004 at Junior Academy of Excellence in Bloemforntein, Free State. We became acquainted through mutual friends.
Tiisetso was a day-scholar whilst I was a boardig student. We would walk together from class to the hostel cafeteria for lunch meals and refreshments.
On the 9th of February 2004, As we were walking to the hostel cafeteria, I summoned the courage to ask Tiisetso to accompany me to the school Valentines ball, she "Politely" declined my invitation. Yep, she said "NO"
Imagine the shock on my face when Tiisetso rocked up at the Vallentines ball and I had already asked someone else to accompany me. Suffice to say, the weird image on the left was taken that fateful night, THE REST IS HISTORY.
I grew up in a smal ruraltown of Phuthaditjhaba, Eastern Free State. I'am the first of two(2) boys born of Ntate Nkhula Sam Mokoena and Mme Julia Mokoena.
Growing up, I was really into sports - especially soccer, cricket and tennis. Even though I was pretty average at sports, I was still sort of a geek in high school (Kind of an introvert). I moved from Castle Bridge High to Jnr Academy of Excellence in 2004, and that's where Tiisetso and I met.
I love her wholeheartedly, and there's nothing I want more than to build a life and grow old with my schnookums.
I am an africa, hailing from the Northern part of South Africa. Born and raised in Gankwana, Limpopo. I am one of three girls born of Glory Kupa.
My family and I moved to Bloemfontein in 2002. I went to Jnr. Academy of excellence, which is where Raymond and I met in 2004. I was outspoken and not very shy to speak my mind, I was the centre of attention for wrong reasons "IN HIGH SCHOOL".
The first time Raymond asked me out, was for our High School Valentines ball in 2004 and I said "NO". Not knowing that he would be the man I want to spend my life with.
We got a chance to meet and give a brief to the designer for our traditional attire.
The bridal party met forthe first time. Everyone got a chance meet and mingle.
Tiisetso and Raymond launch their personal wedsite at ray-tii.wedsite.com.
